ARC is an association founded in 1952 by a group of parents who could not obtain services for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These parents banded together to develop programs and services and to influence the government to change legislation and public policy. Today ARC has achieved what was once thought impossible.
We have become one of the largest consumer-based nonprofit organizations in Schenectady County, offering programs and services that provide daily assistance to thousands of individuals of all ages and their families throughout the Capital Region.
As a non-profit, we rely on charitable contributions to help programs and services with funding needs. Now, more than ever we are seeking your support for these valuable programs.
