The Eligibility Review process is the gateway to services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Schenectady County. An individual who has a developmental disability and lives in Schenectady County or New York State can request assitance with the basic eligibility review by: calling Schenectady ARC's Service Navigation Office directly; asking a local government agency to assist them in accessing services; or having a voluntary agency, such as SCHENECTADY ARC, make a request on their behalf. Before receiving Medicaid-funded services, an individual must arrange to have a review of the necessary records that contain evidence of a qualifying developmental disability.
