Looking to find the right person for that lingering job vacancy? New Directions offer a continuum of supports that help individuals with disabilities to find and keep employment throughout the community.
New Directions matches employees to respective career areas through a thorough vocational assessment process. All participants also undergo a job/worker match to assure a proper fit.
Once hired, new employees will receive on-site, intensive training from a New Directions professional to learn job duties, workplace procedures as well as become acquainted with co-workers and supervisors. After training has been completed, participants will continue to receive visits from New Directions staff to assure job retention. In addition, employers who participate in the New Directions program may be eligible for special state and federal tax incentives.
