Health Insurance: Choice between MVP or CDPHP
Vacation Time: Full time employees earn 1 day per month
Personal Time: 1 day after the first 3, 6 and 9 months and then 4 days a year on anniversary date to be used during the next year
Sick Time: Full time employees earn 1 day per month, part-time employees earn 3.5 hours per month
Holidays: Agency is closed for most major holidays and employees are given three floating holidays
Annuity Plan: after 1 year of employment, SARC contribues 5% of the annualized salary if the employee contributes at least 1%
Tuition Reimbursement: After 90 days of employment, the agency will reimburse 100% of the State University rate for one course per semester (course must be directly related to the employee's position). Professional development program after 1 year of employment the agency will reimburse two courses per semester if the degree program is approved.
Credit Union: Each employee is eligible to join the First Teacher's Federal Credit Union
Direct Deposit: Employees may choose to deposit all or part of their paycheck into the bank of their choice
Life Insurance and Long Term Disability: Employees are eligible for group rate discounts on life insurance and long term disability at their own expense
Flexible Spending Plan: After completion of the provisional period, pre-tax dollars can be deducted from an employees paycheck to cover medical and dependent costs
Employee Assistance Program: SARC contracts with Employee Services, Inc. to offer confidential counseling and guidance services
Employee Special Discounts: SARC employees can access discounted movie and great escape passes and receive discounts at Roy Mathews, Empire Vision, Smart Deal Network and other area businesses
