Schenectady ARC provides a wide array of services that support families of individuals with developmental disabilities who reside at home. In-home respite services give temporary, periodic relief from care-giving responsibilities. Similarly, in-home residential habilitation and respite recreation services engage individuals in various recreational activities, including creative arts as well as fun-filled outings in the community. Our new integrated after-school programs provide services in conjunction with the YMCA to children in the Scotia-Glenville school district. In addition, parental support groups are available to bring families together to discuss common issues. |
